Providing therapy is an honor that I hold with the utmost respect and care. It takes courage to reach out for help. I work hard to ensure that I make that process as positive and effective as I can.
My approach to therapy is one of positive regard, non-judgment and genuineness. I have a warm, welcoming and light presence. I consider being a part of my clients' journeys a privilege. I believe that given the right support we will move towards purposeful and self-directed living. We can shed the ways of being that no longer serve us. We can begin to live from a more congruent and authentic place. We can come to solve many of the troubles we currently face.
I received my Master's in Counseling Psychology with an Emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California. Licenses - LMFT#119232; LPCC#8741

My approach to therapy is empowering and grounded in person-centered and humanistic principles, which allows me to create a safe and nurturing environment where my clients feel heard, valued, and supported.
As a trauma-informed and multiculturally aware therapist, I am passionate about helping individuals overcome interpersonal abuse and trauma-related issues, often leading to anxiety, depression, and shame. You do not have to continue feeling this way. I believe that everyone has the potential for growth and healing. Through therapy, clients can learn to feel safe in their bodies, achieve healthy relationships, and develop a more positive outlook on life.
I work with individuals of all ages and collaborate on a personalized treatment plan. I am incredibly passionate about supporting teens and young adults and have experience helping individuals overcome distressing experiences such as sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, religious abuse, narcissistic abuse, and other trauma-related issues. Through strength-based and compassion-focused therapies, as well as cognitive-behavioral therapy, I help my clients build resilience and learn coping skills that can be used throughout their lives.

I deeply understand how challenging it can be to maintain a fulfilling life in the world we live in today. Sometimes we get derailed on our journey, but the good news is that you don't have to go this alone. The feelings of numbness, shame, confusion, and despair don’t have to last. I offer therapy with a combination of an internal family systems approach that honors each of the multiple "parts" of a person living within one's sense of self and CBT/DBT skills that offer specific ways to integrate those parts into a healed and whole system. My goal is to help you acknowledge the many aspects of the human being you are and help you to overcome your circumstances - whether past or present - so that you can manifest who you authentically are. I received my Master's in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. I am an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California. I’m also a certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician. My background concentration is in somatic psychotherapy which means that my focus is on the integration of the mind and body. I focus on helping people acknowledge the physical sensations that stem from entrapped emotions and to utilize that awareness to work through painful feelings into a place of peace and resiliency. Stabilization of mental health symptoms is the gateway into greater meaning, reconnection, and wellness. I believe that where there is life, there is always hope. Even though at times you may feel hope-less, there is always the possibility of renewal and creation of the kind of existence you wish for. If you're going through a difficult time now or trying to pull yourself through after experiencing difficult times, I'd love to hear from you. I am available for individuals ranging from young children to adolescents to adults of all ages. I am also available to work with couples and family groups. One of the most courageous things you can do is seek support while healing. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, nonjudgmental atmosphere, where I can help support you while you learn to understand yourself, your past, and your relationships, as well as work towards your future and goals. You deserve a safe space of self-discovery and self-empowerment.
I am an associate clinical social worker with clinical training that includes working with children, teenagers, adults, and couples, facing a myriad of mental health challenges, primarily anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, and trauma.
I practice using an integration of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with a psychodynamic, relational approach while ensuring my approach is always trauma-informed and strengths-based. However, I believe in the importance of collaborating on the approach that works for you and adjusting it as your needs change and evolve. Together, we can build a space to unpack painful emotions and experiences, as well as celebrate progress and successes!
